The Working Poet Radio Show is returning to Miami, Florida, for our fourth show in the Magic City. On Sunday, November 20, at 5:30 p.m., author and journalist Joseph Lapin hosts a live-recorded late-night style talk show dedicated to the working lives of creative people at the Miami Book FairInspired by late-night talk shows, Joseph Lapin explores the poetry that powers the creative impulse. Join Lapin and his guests: Art Spiegelman, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Maus and Si Lewen’s Parade: An Artist’s Odyssey, Trina Robbins, editor of The Complete Wimmen’s Comix anthology, and Gene Luen Yang, 2016 National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature and author of Secret Coders: Paths & Portals and American Born Chinese. In this live recorded podcasts, some of America's greatest comics will explore their careers and their creative inspiration, telling stories of how they found the artistic impulse and how they built a life to cultivate it.
