The Dark Noise Collective Performs and Shares Their Creative Journey

In April, Miami Book Fair and O, Miami Poetry Festival co-presented a special edition of the Working Poet Radio Show (WPRS) founded by Joseph Lapin, featuring The Dark Noise Collective, an explosive performance group composed of poets Fatimah Asghar, Franny Choi, Nate Marshall, Aaron Samuels, Danez Smith, and Jamila Woods. Inspired by late-night talk shows, WPRS is a podcast and live show, produced by Marci Calabretta Cancio-Bello, dedicated to creative inspiration and the working lives of creative people. At the Little Haiti Cultural Center, The Dark Noise Collective joined host Joseph Lapin to share their artistic journey and to provide inspiration to aspiring creatives on how to build a life around a craft.
